The last Hear No Evil Presents… night delivered as expected. Now that they’ve got the sync industry in lock down I think it’s brilliant they’ve shouldered the responsibility of bringing their artists to the forefront of the live scene as well.
On a night that seriously killed it with artists and DJs, an unexpected stand-out was one of the opening acts, the recent signing to Dorian Concept’s label, Affine Records. It’s a difficult balance to do something live and that leftfield; keeping the chin stroke massive impressed and the rest of the crowd interested, but Zanshin pulled it off, and my hat goes off to him.
Released today is his debut EP, titled The Humdrum Conundrum, available as a limited 12″ or digital download at all your favourite shops. You can stream it below via the label’s Soundcloud page.
