It seems we’re all about radio at the moment, but it’s been an epic couple of weeks of it to be fair. It’s officially 2015 when you get three months in and that’s depressing, meaning we turn to selectors even more to pick up the mood. With that said, in this case it was turning to ourselves for Awkward Movements on NTS from last week now up for archive stream.
A few regular labels like Leaving Records, Astro:Dynamics and Staalplaat appeared alongside a bit of a mini-feature on the brilliant videogamemusic label who i just keep digging more and more. We weren’t shy about playing multipe cuts or tracks from artists or releases; where it’s worthy, play it I say. Beatrice Dillon appeared alongside Lee Bannon and Hacker Farm, with new bits coming from Blackhill Transmitter, Mesak, Model 500, Powell and Etch to name but a few.
We cleaned house a bit, and decided on a bit of a rave tip towards the end. It’s a lot funner when things don’t go to plan after all.
