Going back a bit for a nice piece of archive here, the last Awkward Movements show of 2013 that went out via NTS Radio on the 23rd of last month.
Some proper dub vibes from Suns of Arqa being flipped by Youth Dub and a cut from the amazing Sheriff Lindo and the Hammer LP, Illum Sphere tapping in to his Vangelis side accompanied later in the show with other synth driven bits by the likes of Conrad Schnitzler and Compund Eye to name a few. A double offering from Ahnnu who’s entire catalogue is brilliant and some lush experimental pieces from the supergroup of C. Spencer Yeh, Okkyung Lee and Lasse Merhaug on Mexican Summer as well as Richard Devine (pictured above) on Sublight Records.
