A nice trip down the house, techno and beats tip a bit more than usual on the NTS show this week, with Hieroglyphic Being and A Made Up Sound setting the standard as the first two records on, followed shortly by Dobie and new stuff from The Heliocentrics. Skirt and TM404 were definite highlights for those who like their techno beatless, rounded off by the more experimental bits from Thorsten Soltau, Jeff Keen, The Inventors of Aircraft and the JK Flesh / Prurient supergroup offering that has practically lived on the deck since purchase. Nothing but goodness, so many new joints we didn’t get to play, but the stack we did get across served up some pretty mind blowing moments.
