‘My Wife Makes Dioramas’ (of Murder Scenes)

I think the best thing about My Wife Makes Dioramas is that for about a month no one actually knew who the real artist was, now announced as one Abby Goldman. It was in fact her husband, best known by his Reddit handle CapJax, who shot her work to fame, as it was he who posted the murder oriented, and sometimes disturbing but always amusing, images of her work on the internet.

Not seen a lot of dioramas but the concept bores me to tears alongside model trains and painting toy cars. This is interesting though, with clown murder being heads above a scale model of a village as it was in 1916.

Apparently there’s a second set coming in the next few weeks, due to this lot flying out after being put on sale. The only one they had trouble shifting was the robbery scene; at least until she added a dead body to it. Keep an eye on the Abigail Goldman page at Trifecta Gallery for when the next lot look set to land. In the meantime you can check the full original collection below and underneath that a couple of the 4 x 4 x 4 inch boxes that weren’t on the original list.
