120+ records (and one digital track), two turntables and six hours of mixing recorded live over four sessions from Jimmy Monsta Funk: this is 2018 All Over Again.
As far as things to look forward to throughout the year the yearly wrap-up of tracks from JMF is certainly up there and he’s served it up beautifully once again. An eclectic mixture of all sorts released in 2018, re-released in 2018 or a couple of releases slept on from the previous year broken down loosely in to sessions for House, Techno and Hip Hop, Jazz and Blues with the fourth and final instalment aptly titled Bells and Bass.
Whilst England and most of the rest of the world is turning to crap there’s comfort in knowing that good music can both reflect the madness or just give us a bit of distraction before we hear about the nonsense all over again.
Strictly vinyl with the exception of Chip on Cash Motto towards the end of part three which is hopefully dropping on wax sometime in the future.
