George Fitzgerald Heads Up Keep It Down! @ Gramaphone – 11.9

George Fitzgerald headlines the first of a new London night for forward thinking bass and electronic music.

Following on from his debut 12″ on Hotflush, George Fitzgerald’s been named as the first signing to Joy Orbison’s Doldrums label, but it’s his reputation as a live selector that’s kept him as one of the most in-demand play out DJs of the moment.

Crises will also be playing reppin’ Rinse FM, as will man of the moment Dodger Man (look for him int he next issue in Shook!) who’s much hyped debut on wax we’ve been assured is being pressed now for a September release date.

Dick Turpin, We Are Dubist and Awkward Movements Sessions /MMM regular Ray Nulds round off what’s set to be a memorable night.

The whole thing’s going down at Gramaphone Wednesday, September 11th and is sure to fill up quick.
