Since their relaunch earlier in the year our friends over at Example Magazine have definitely kicked things up a notch. Now over a year old, they’ve expanded their operations to all of the UK from being solely Manchester, and the scene’s repaid in turn, throwing up more photographers and artists down or the cause.
Last month they hooked up with Dub Phizix for a free download on his remix of 100 Teeth by Sabre – which you can still check out here. This time round they’ve got Skittles on board, who’s given us a free download of a track that never saw the light of day in 2007. After months of replying to truckloads of fan mail, “Manchester HIP HOP Sensation” (South Manchester Reporter March 2011), Skittles is blowing the dust off his old hard drives and has uncovered this “dusty riddim”. As a thank you for all the support so far for the Tip-I-Cal-Ly single here is a treat for you all.
