David Rodigan ‘Sound System Special’ on Worldwide.FM

Do yourself a favor and take two hours to David Rodigan and Gilles Peterson in session. Broadcast on Worldwide.fm last week, it’s yet another session that Gilles and crew (shouts to Thris Tian) have delivered for the platform cementing the station as one of the best channels out there. It’s impossible to say people don’t care about radio anymore with sessions like this dropping.

Ram Jam’s a member of the elite in the reggae, radio and record collector communities that’s got stories for days. He’s and traveled the world, clashed with the biggest systems in Jamaica and held down regular radion since 1978. He’s also recently dropped an autobiography – Rodigan – which I can’t wait to read. You couldn’t ask for a better audio taster than what he’s doing here, as he plays records and talks about them with Gilles.
