Chairman Kato Goes Live – Tonight and Tomorrow LDN

Spend some time with Chairman Kato as he unleashes his live show. Just to clarify not ‘live’ like triggering loops from his tracks – we’re talking ‘live’ like creating and improvising electronic music live. I’ve seen a preview of what he’s got in store and it’s not something you want to sleep on.

You’ve got two chances to catch him doing it over the next two nights. Tonight he’s supporting Actress at Le Fez in New Cross for what should be a big night. The serial killer weirdness that is Benedict Bull will be on deck duties too, a quality night for Kato to debut what he does live.

Courtesy of Five Easy Pieces and going down at The Camp Basement tomorrow night he’ll be playing live again, and you can also catch a rare performance from the don that is Maurice Fulton. He’ll be headlining the party with Illum Sphere, who despite already being one of the best DJs and creative artists producing today somehow keeps getting better. Pretty much just these two and Kato would be a bargain for a £10 door entry, but throw in Ossie reppin’ Hyperdub, Royalty and Auntie Flo and it’s guaranteed to be epic.
