Been sitting on this for a minute too long, but we almost broke the internet trying to upload it first time around, but wanted to get something special up for Awkward Movements Sessions #50. The don DJ of the group – Jimmy Monsta Funk – steps up massively with a 4 hour wax mix, recorded live on three turntables.
There’s too much goodness to highlight, over 100 tracks in total spanning all genres but blended together with a pure house and techno attitude. the man’s got some of the deepest crates we know of for electronic music, spanning close to three decades of proper wax collecting with no moves to stop. It’s all about the bump and the soul that comes from knowing your records and years of experience collecting and playing out.
