Our resident photographer Timmy K steps back in to the mix for his second Awkward Movements Sessions in nearly as many months. Constantly vibing on new joints, he’s been also been educating us as of late on the heyday of jungle raves, flyering and tape packs that we missed out on the first time around. Always out shooting, its worth staying on his Flickr for when he updates it, recently capturing some stunning shots of King Midas Sound and Mark Pritchard at Kokos.
We got G.Davies of Organic Mechanics fame stepping up for the next guest mix, watch for that coming next week. Big ups to him and Artek for their recent jump to Sub.fm with the Organics show, 6-8pm every other Monday.
Back for his second sessions of the year Timmy K takes it deeper than his last offering, striking an enviable balance of club joints and underground mixing. Objekt opens and closes, Juan Atkins remixed by Worthy, Boddika and the massive remix of Hyetal done by Fantastic Mr Fox all make appearances, alongside a load of digital only joints that make a damn good argument for controller DJing.
