Awkward Movements on NTS – 5.9.15

Back in touch with the internet just in time to post up archive of last week’s Awkward Movements show on NTS. Amidst the annual Dead Albatross madness, it’s Paul Ackroyd aka Kamikaze in session for two hours of tunes – a load of favourites for us and a few new pieces thrown in.

The obligatory Muslimgauze and Sun Ra visits appear, and more stuff from A Taut Line on Disktopia, the label he founded. ACI Edits and Regis remixing Ike Yard gets thing going early with new stuff from Alex Perez teaming up with Eprom, Lil Silva and Gilmer Galibard following on soon after.

Ras Michael & The Sons Of Negus and Prince Far I & The Arabs coming off the back of Bongo Herman for a nice African and reggae section with the whole thing ending in an epic recording from Master Musicians of Jojouka (pictured above).

Loads more goodness, check out below with the stream and full track list. Get in touch for the download as always.
