Last week’s (or was it the week before?) Awkward Movements show on NTS here, closing off a month of quality reissues, new bits and wicked cassettes.
Kicked things off with the latest Kassem Mosse alias Paid Reach and it’s weird minimal electro grind, and the ever-impressive Jahiliyya Fields who continues to prove he can do no wrong, especially on the L.I.E.S. label. Seekersinternational is fast becoming as played as Muslimgauze on the show, though we reached back for it this time with a free download from his bandcamp page that we recommend grabbing as soon as possible.
Managed to get some instrumental grime in there from Logos, bizarre amen based field-sampled works from I-LP-O In Dub (pictured above) that continues to impress, and the crazy hand drums of Tapes & Wareika Hill Sounds working together on a cut.
