Kicked off with Healing Force Project on Firecracker Recordings, which we’ve been meaning to play for a while, as well as Tarquin Manek which is just all sorts of madness. Loads of heat, mostly in the experimental vein this time around. Can’t believe it was the first time we dropped Deantoni Parks on the show. Technoself was one of favourite LPs of recent times and definitely hasn’t left the box since we grabbed it last year.
Was also pretty pleased to find out that a record we’d just played was in fact the early work of Mika Vainio, check out Gagarin-Kombinaatti for more on that.
New Hecker (Tim), Roly Porter, Yves De Mey and Mike Cooper all featured as well – too many records, not enough time.
